Sunday Services

Our morning worship begins at 11am and is followed by tea and coffee.  All are welcome as we meet together to worship the Lord and learn from His Word. Rev Alan Anderson will be our local preacher this coming Sunday 26th April.

Monday Small Group

The group meet fortnightly in the church from 7-9pm.  We aim to study the Bible, explore the Christian faith, encourage one another, learn and grow together, as we seek to apply the Word of God to our every day lives.  Our next Fellowship meeting will be on the 27th April @ 7.00pm.

Safeguarding

The aim of the Methodist Church Safeguarding policy is to create Christian communities of love and care, where good practice in this area becomes a way of life.

We care about the welbeing of all, particulalry children, young people and vulnerable adults.  Safeguarding policies and practices are implemented to guide our work with these vulnerable groups.  Safeguarding is about preventing the abuse of children and young people and promoting their welfare, as well as protecting vulnerable adults.

For more information see the national website on Safeguarding or talk to our staff.

The art competition was very good and we had 41 entries from Chirnsyde primary school with 2 winners and 2 runners up.  Every child in the 2 classes did get an easter egg.  We are now looking at ways to develop this work and ideas for another competition.  Please send any ideas you have to darren@standrewsmethodist.co.uk
