Welcoming Children and Young People at St Andrew's

Children and young people are very welcome at St Andrew's.  We believe that children and young people are a vital part of our community and need to be treated as such.  Children and families should feel welcome and able to contribute fully to our worshipping life.  We aim to provide a place that is safe and which offers children and young people the opportunity to meet others, have fun and know that they matter!  For more information contact Darren Darlow

Safeguarding

The aim of the Methodist Church Safeguarding policy is to create Christian communities of love and care, where good practice in this area becomes a way of life.

We care about the welbeing of all, particulalry children, young people and vulnerable adults.  Safeguarding policies and practices are implemented to guide our work with these vulnerable groups.  Safeguarding is about preventing the abuse of children and young people and promoting their welfare, as well as protecting vulnerable adults.  For more information see the national website on Safeguarding or talk to our staff.
